rehearsing for the productions of Rats! The Story of the Pied Piper and Aladdin Jr.

During performing art classes, students worked with the Summer Arts Safari, a program of Summer Arts Stages, a
nonprofit organization from East Grand Forks, Minnesota.  The goal of Safari is to bring the excitement of the arts
to children.  Safari believes involvement includes not only performance, but also learning more about various
aspects of the art-making process.  Therefore, each Safari program starts with these goals: Perform, learn, and enjoy!
In addition to the musical, Safari troupe members work with the students in creative dramatics, theatre
games, movement and music.  The Safari Troupe Members for
2007 were:  Ashley Hovey, Erin O'Neil,
Heath Stevenson, Jordan Wolfe, Amanda Zimmerman, and Mike Erickson.
