| Nelson County Prairie Regulators Snowmobile Club Members of Snowmobile North Dakota, which furnishes the groomer to groom over 110 miles of trail. The complete trail system is over 300 miles and goes from as far south as Finley and as far west as Churches Ferry. | The Board maintains and improves the two Pekin public parks, plants new trees and landscapes. They also remove unsound and diseased trees, and trim and care for all trees on city owned properties, advise property owners on proper planting methods and the care of trees. The Board is also involved in the annual Pekin Days events. |
| The Memorial Tree Program was established in May of 2000. Trees may be planted in memory of someone during the Annual Arbor Day Celebration and a plaque is placed at the base of the tree or shrub.
